Job Description

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate blockchain expertise in architectural, project, and committee discussions.
• Swiftly understand existing project complexity and contribute to the refinement of blockchain solution options and configurations.
• Produce detailed analysis and reports containing recommendations specific to use cases.
• Conduct blockchain audits and reviews, emphasizing data security, scalability, and architecture.
• Develop and execute frameworks for maturity assessments and pathways to implementation, including change management phases.
• Provide strategic support to Rewired.one's customers by conducting gated project reviews, ensuring credible technology positions are communicated in executive and public messaging.
• Foster the growth of Rewired.one's customers service delivery by sharing knowledge on blockchain best practices and lessons learned.
• Serve as a blockchain expert in focus group discussions and enable partners to broaden their blockchain knowledge.
• Maintain reporting cadence, including weekly check-ins with the client, participation in interviews, workshops, and monthly executive meetings.
• Manage and contribute to diverse projects, ranging from supply chain solutions to digital identity and smart contracts code reviews.
• Assess vendor proposals based on price, time, and complexity parameters, offering recommendations for industry standardization.
• Host enablement sessions with IT technical committees, board members, and project-specific focus groups.
• Run a quality assurance process to review and audit code, including conducting smart contract audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Blockchain applications in both a consulting and software development capacity.
• Proficient in blockchain platforms such as Kaledio, Hyperledger, Hedera, Firefly and Quorum.
• Other technologies include Kafka, IPFS, PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript or Solidity, and experience working with version control systems, primarily Git and GitHub.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to analyze and debug complex software systems.
• A bonus will be a deep understanding of the energy sector concepts and technologies.
• Passionate about blockchain technology and its potential to impact the energy industry.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a environment with multiple customers and vendors.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Experience mentoring team members and training clients on blockchain technologies and applications.
• Prior experience with digital identity and smart contract audits is highly preferred.

Management Consulting Skills

• Extensive experience in blockchain auditing processes and frameworks such as the GBA Blockchain Maturity Model.
• Expertise in conducting in-depth analysis and crafting concise executive summaries or quick facts guides.
• Superior facilitation skills for hosting enablement sessions with a variety of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated negotiation and decision-making skills to assess vendor proposals.
• Ability to efficiently manage in a fully remote environment, with communication primarily via chat and videoconferencing.
• Proficient in working with part-time team members across different areas of the organization, predominantly during central time zone hours.
• Proven ability to run quality assurance processes and review and audit code, including smart contract audits.
