Job Details

The optimal candidate understands the adversarial nature of markets, has an interest in decentralized finance systems, and a proficiency in software engineering. Neither markets nor crypto experience is required, though we would like for the candidate to be able to articulate thoughtful arguments for a relevant concept. Software engineering proficiency is required.

Solana is an emerging chain, it’s dev infrastructure is not yet as mature as Ethereum’s, and as such, we anticipate troubleshooting and debugging will occupy more time than usual, and are looking for a candidate who can manage that and also know when to ask for help.

For senior roles, we have the additional expectation that the candidate can delegate and manage their team’s time effectively in a remote, autonomous work environment.

Tech preferences, in order of importance

Ability to write Rust code, or willingness to learn.
General Typescript and Python proficiency.
DeFi / blockchain experience.

Other considerations

Comfortable working in an emerging dev ecosystem.
Open to any timezone, with ability to work around EST centric operations.
Daily standups, but team members can optimize meetings how they see fit.
Willingness to opine and offer ad hoc support to the community, time permitting.
