A bit about us:

We're the world’s largest full-service Digital Currency Machine (DCM) operator, is seeking a smart contract developer and cryptocurrency specialist. The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player with a can-do attitude who is self-motivated, energetic, highly organized, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced, diverse environment. You will work with product designers, architects, and other engineers to prototype and create new products and features instrumental in bringing decentralized finance and cryptocurrency technology into everyday use by the general public. This role will focus on bringing decentralized solutions to both traditional and novel financial needs via blockchain/DLT and Defi tech and protocols and will be an integral part of the team doing general crypto platform design, development, and integration.

Responsibilities

Design and implement cryptosystems, integrate with various blockchains, layer 2’s, etc. to drive new user-facing Defi powered fintech features in our wallet, kiosk, and web integrated platform
Make key architectural and technology decisions, particularly crypto/Defi related, to foster a codebase that encourages both rapid development velocity and high code quality
Understand and implement security and data protection in a comprehensive fashion, in individual smart contracts as well as across systems
Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
Provide mentorship to your peers in the broader engineering team
You love to learn, get your hands dirty, and find creative solutions to challenging problems.
You’re an innovator. You keep up to date on emerging technologies in general and are constantly thinking about potential applications. You have open-source contributions and connections.
You have a driving passion for DeFi and blockchain technology, and have experience with Ethereum and layer 2 solutions, as well as 2 nd/3 rd gen blockchain and DLT like Cardano, Stellar, Polkadot, Matic/Polygon, etc.
You have extensive experience analyzing, designing, and implementing smart contracts and Defi protocols. Smart contract experience with solidity is expected. Additional experience with other smart contract languages and platforms, and open-source or other reviewed and viewable contributions are highly valued.

Requirements
A passion for user experience and blockchain technology
2+ years of direct experience building smart contracts or demonstrated codebase contributions related to smart-contract analysis, auditing, design, and implementation
3+ years of hands-on experience in a production environment with one or more of blockchain and DLT; consensus protocols; distributed systems; applied cryptography; fintech products or services
Experienced with multiple languages and probably able to quickly pick up and master new languages, tech stacks, and other technical and industry knowledge
Experience designing, implementing, and using RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Experience building or integrating with cloud-native/microservices architecture applications and platforms
Experience with Agile software development (like Scrum or Kanban)
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Deep problem-solving capability and attention to detail
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
Experience deploying and configuring environments using infrastructure-as-code provisioning tools like Terraform and Ansible a plus
Experience with traditional enterprise technologies including SaaS and ERP systems (like SAP) a plus
Experience with CSS and Jade/ PUG and handlebars or other templating engines is a plus
Experience with NodeJS, Meteor, and Ionic a plus
