You will add value to our team by having previous experience in both analysis and investigations related to blockchain and cryptocurrency. This position requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication and technical skills. ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a strong understanding of planning and management related to financial crime matters, directing and assisting in the performance of forensic investigations related to blockchain and cryptocurrency.Assist in leading multiple projects providing timely preparation and quality control of client deliverables, mitigating engagement risks and managing client expectations.Investigate incidents of fraud and money laundering involving the illicit use of cryptocurrency and serve as a subject matter expert in relation to on-chain investigations.Raise awareness of investigative findings regarding emerging cryptocurrency related threats, and summarize recommendations to mitigate risk.Identify trends and emerging threats within the cryptocurrency space.Review and summarize transactions occurring on and off-chain to create and develop clear deliverables including, but not limited to expert reports and presentation of findings.Work with data analytics team to analyze large data sets and identify crime patterns.Participate in business development initiatives including event attendance, preparation of RFPs, and thought leadership related to cryptocurrency and other digital assets.Demonstrate professionalism and foster a team-oriented environment. Train, cross-train and mentor engagement staff by providing timely feedback and opportunities for learning and growth.Assist with engagement management administration, including billing and conflict checks.Required QualificationsB.A. in business, technology or relevant field2+ years within professional services or at a blockchain or crypto related company related to blockchain analysis and intelligence, and financial crime.Ability to understand, trace, and analyze on-chain transactions.Proficiency with blockchain analytics software (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, CipherTrace, or TRM Labs)Flexibility with the potential travel requirements of client engagementsExcellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to structure and perform technical projects and manage client expectationsExcellent prioritization skills and commitment to excellent client serviceDesirable qualificationsCertification obtained (or in progress) Chainalysis Reactor - (CRC)Experience with TRM Labs, Elliptic or CipherTrace - product certification is a plusOther crypto compliance certifications are a plus (CCI, CTCE, CCFC, KYT)We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages.
