Job Type Full-time

Description

Our Operations team is seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Talent for an immediate start. Responsibilities include managing internal and external recruiting sources, the candidate workflow, high level candidate communication strategy, stakeholder involvement and evaluation process, as well as long term vision for hiring at Company and how to optimize to find the best talent. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract only the best professionals.

Beyond this, you 'll manage our relationships with talent that is not part of the core team. This means reviewing and vetting external software development agencies and the software teams beyond partner institutions who collaborate with us. You 'll be expected to have expertise in scalable workforces and be able to help us spin up temporary workers or even teams with potential partners. You 'd also need to be opinionated on how we think about talent who we do not directly compensate but are nonetheless contributors. We are an open source project so anyone can participate and we are strongly committed to transitioning to a DAO structure in which our open source community can fund its own initiatives.

Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled participants to help build Company now and in the future.
