Position Description:

Be part of CGI's Applied Intelligence sector organization and join our product team to develop and architect business solutions across multiple industries. Lead a team of developers to develop solutions using cutting edge blockchain and cloud technologies to solve complex business problems for a variety of use cases. Collaborate, work, and grow with blockchain, cloud, and industry SMEs in a global team.This role is a hands on architect position requiring full stack development experience to create business solutions on a decentralized data platform.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Serve as hands-on architect and work with product manager, developers, and team members to design and develop secure, scalable, high performance business solutions leveraging cloud and Hyperledger fabric blockchain technologies
• Translate business requirements from user stories into technical enablers/tasks
• Develop solutions for user stories and technical enablers/tasks
• Participate in hands on development of user stories/technical tasks
• Perform cross functional testing on completed development tasks
• Perform code review and evangelizes development best practices and patterns
• Guide and groom development team members to ensure completion of development tasks to meet sprint objectives
• Assist developers and DevOps team in troubleshooting code and environmental issues

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 15 + years of experience in leading architecture and development using frontend , Backend tools likeAngular, Java Spring/SpringBoot, and REST APIs leveraging Azure / AWS cloud capabilities
• Experience with architecting business solutions including development of architectural diagrams, ERDs, data architecture diagrams, etc.
• Ability to articulate technical architecture to business leaders and executives
• Demonstrated experience with Human centered designs and best practices
• Blockchain development and Hyperledger fabric experience strongly preferred
• Strong familiarity and/or experience with docker, CI/CD, version control, git
• Experience with development within Agile and/or SAFe
• Familiarity with automated unit testing

Skill set :

Solutions Architecture in a Cloud environment -Minimum 5 years
Java, including multi-threading, asynchronous programming -Minimum 3 years Architect
Angular.js - Minimum 5 years Architect
Data architecture - Minimum 3 years
Spring, SpringBoot - Minimum 3 years
REST APIs, Web services, Messaging, Streaming - Minimum 5 years
SQL - Minimum 3 years
Industry best practices, security, patterns/anti-patterns -Minimum 5 years
Troubleshooting, analysis, debugging - Minimum 5 years

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required

Several areas of good or better than good proficiency required having 3 or more years qualifying experience

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or equivalent in experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,500 -$251,000.
