Description

KCI looking for an experienced Ethereum developer to help build out a proof-of-concept solution demonstrating an integration between the Baseline Protocol and the Internet Computer. The Baseline Protocol uses a blockchain to deposit cryptographic proofs that confirm consistency between different record-keeping systems in business-to-business workflows, each of which consist of some set of worksteps. Typically, a public mainnet such as Ethereum is used for this purpose, which is costly given current gas prices. The PoC would explore the Internet Computer as a scalable option for “backing up” these cryptographic proofs.

Our client is developing a new technology stack that reinvents the internet as a computer that hosts secure software and open internet services. Utilizing a network of independent Data Centers, the developers create websites, IT systems and open versions of internet services. The Rust Developer will assist in building the monitoring, alarming and tooling needed to keep the 24x7x365 systems running.

The internet computer can support any number of different software frameworks and our client is workings on SDKs (software development kits) that support the Rust and C languages.

This is a contract position (3-6 months) with the potential for full-time employment, likely focused on additional projects, integrations, and collaborations with the Ethereum community.
