The opportunity

In this global role, you will focus on improving operational sales delivery, driving revenue and margins globally with GTM strategies in order to further embed EY’s strategic position as the global leader in Blockchain. EY Blockchain delivers much of its’ value through our online blockchain SaaS applications, which are growing very quickly. You will be responsible for budgeting, planning, organizing, and helping drive all the agile engineering teams that move this forward. You will thrive in a complex, matrixed environment and help align the strategic direction and drive our products into use by our audit and consulting teams. 

Your key responsibilities

The blockchain business has been growing at a phenomenal rate. In this role you will manage the operations of the blockchain team across service lines, geographies, and verticals. This role will be focused on supporting sales and managing business operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the budget and planning cycle
Managing the marketing roadmap and planning cycle
Managing the recruiting pipeline
Working with regions to properly staff and scale operations
Working with service lines on staffing and planning roadmaps
Working with regional and SL leaders to plan and execute sales programs with key clients and industry verticals

Skills and attributes for success

You’ll be able to develop an understanding and knowledge of our business operations model and the EY organizational structure as well as understand how these are linked. You’ll have an understanding of complex processes that are required to do things such as move money around (IoM’s) and manage budget targets. Ideally, you’ll also possess knowledge of how other companies buy SaaS applications, how our competitors sell them and identify where gaps exist in the marketplace. 

To qualify for the role, you must have

12+ years of software and SaaS sales experience in a professional services or solution oriented environment
Major account management and business operations experience
Outsourcing, application development, technology program management experience (non-technical)
Expert client management and relationship skills, strong executive presence, expert influencing skills, including the ability to influence without authority
Solid understanding of the marketplace/industry, competitive intel and account information
Strong ability to handle and resolve conflict 
A University/Bachelor’s Degree 

Ideally, you’ll also have

An advanced degree or MBA
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Ability to travel
