Role Proficiency:

Contributes to driving the Product Vision that addresses cross-domain market needs with strong business viability; in line with the Product/Platform Portfolio with guidance from Managers. Assists Managers in delivering the desired product and platform outcomes from original inspiration through implementation and support.rnContributes to the discovery and development of the product/platform per the phases and stages of the product/platform. as guided by the Product Managers.

 

Outcomes:

  1.   A strong evangelist of Product & Platforms Division’s Vision and Philosophy.
  2.   Performs primary and secondary research on Market Driven Products & Platforms; executes the product/platform strategy
  3.   Ensures clear and unambiguous translation of Product Value Roadmap through deliverables to enable the product team to complete work
  4.   Ensures adherence to the Product Value Roadmap set by Product Managers and Product Leadership
  5.   Drafts user stories and ensures they are clearly understood by cross functional product teams
  6.   Ensures Product requirements are gathered and prioritized
  7.   Drives the execution of product development in collaboration with Product Team members comprised of Product Design Technology & Data Science
  8.   Adherence to the modern product management practises and standards; providing periodic status updates
  9.   Supports Product Managers and Senior Product Managers in product demos
  10.   Supports in achieving the Product OKR's

  5. Number of domain and product certifications

 

Outputs Expected:

Plan to develop great products and platforms:

  1. Strong research enabling sound Product Discovery
  2. Co-facilitates Discovery Sprints under guidance from Product and Senior Product Managers
  3. Write and articulate great user stories by capturing and translating solutions for identified user problems into product features that deliver value and impress users
  4. Adherence to Product OKR's

 

Design to deliver vast end -user experience:

  1. Facilitate sound user research across target market segments
  2. Influence in implementing design user-centric experiences throughout the user's journey
  3. Assist in defining user experience (e.g.  wire framing journey maps); partnering with product designers

 

Research the market to ensure an unfair advantage:

  1. Sound understanding of market trends partner ecosystems and competitive strategies
  2. Understanding users the marketplace the competition and future trends for the domain or type of system being developed through customer and market research competitive analysis and rapidly acquiring domain expertise
  3. Define and articulate unique product and business differentiation

 

Manage business to go to and win in the markets:

  1. Assist in implementing the GTM strategies and achieve the metrics for product success
  2. Protect assets and mitigate risks employing IP knowledge

 

Manage great people:

  1. Inspire Product teams communicate with diverse groups and influence change throughout the organization

 

Use great technology:

  1. Good understanding and usage of tech stacks
  2. Good understanding of exponential technologies including AI/ML IoT Blockchain
  3. Agile proficiency for Rapid Product Discovery & Development
  4. Employ eminent technology in product management by diving deep into technology trends and architectures

 

Employ great methods in product management :

  1. Understand different product management and development approaches
  2. Understand product usage models

 

Skill Examples:

  1.   Skill in understanding and articulating the core positioning messaging and value propositions for the product
  2.   Ability to support product demos to customers/end users
  3.   Ability to define the user experience to be incorporated into the User Design
  4.   Aptitude in creating user stories
  5.   Ability to creates market customer and competition research based on understanding of market trends partner ecosystems and competitive strategies
  6.   Capable of motivating the team to build and deliver impressive products

Major Skills Client looking for-

• Bachelor/master’s degree in information management, Business or equivalent.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT as a Business Analyst or Product Owner. 3-year Product Owner experience is a must.

• Java/GCP background

• Experience in delivering products using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile, Scrum or Kanban

• Possesses a deep understanding of web service technologies, user interface/interaction, and knowledge of Systems Development and Project Management lifecycles

• Experience and flexibility in onshore/offshore working model.

• Experience with Product & Technology Roadmap development through influence of key business and technology partners to identify business priorities

• Excellent leadership and motivational skills

• Possesses a willingness to empower as well as encourage commitment and positive attitude in the team

• Possesses an inquisitive and innovative mindset with a shown ability to recognize opportunities to create distinctive value is desired

• Experience as a Scrum Product Owner is preferred

• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework is helpful

• Experienced with evaluating workload to drive efficiency
