Product Manager (CyberSecurity, Financial Services)

What You Will Be Doing

Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment
Work closely with customers to identify customer and market needs, define use cases and establish user personas
Understand the platform, services, and features
Own the product roadmap, lead the product feature planning process and work closely with engineering to ensure successful delivery
Define, track and interpret key business metrics to track overall product success
Understand the market and competition, and develop product and competitive positioning
Work collaboratively with and engage engineering leaders both within our company and within the open source Blockchain community
Support field enablement and other go-to-market activities

What You Need for this Position

Worked in partnership with Engineering to represent the customer. Shaped the requirements of how the product should scale according to market needs
Collaborated with Customer teams to ensure that proposed solutions are in line with current and future needs and the product is being used to its potential
Researched the market to understand the strengths and weakness of competitors
Written functional specifications including requirements and detailed use cases for new product features
Collaborated with leadership to organize the product backlog; prioritizing both the urgent and the important
Agile process experience with an ability to work in small teams; startup experience
Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on product management including product installation, creating demonstrations, and assisting in solution design options and recommendations
Ability to quickly understand complex technologies. Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in the security space as a product manager is a must
Strong understanding of secure-by-design principles
Experience with cryptography & encryption protocols
Experience with modern cloud network security
Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML or OAuth2
Previous experience as a software engineer, highly preferred
Experience in database models behind large financial institutions like banks (is a plus)
3-7 years Product Management experience in the enterprise software technology industry. Prior startup experience strongly preferred (Top companies- Fintech, or large bank strongly preferred)
Experience with RDBMS solutions from Oracle/IBM, SQL and Big Data platforms like Hadoop and other Open Source technologies (is a plus)
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
