Incubator/Innovation Developer

The Intersect Group is seeking an Incubator/Innovation Developer for one of their clients in the Atlanta area!


  • Works in a team of developers for incubation of new projects and proof of concept projects
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
  • Be a team player that motivates and educates other team members
  • Contributing to initiatives to pursue and investigate in support of our digital transformation efforts
  • Ensuring design and development follows enterprise standards, processes and policies
  • Collaboratively working with other groups by offering technical expertise where required
  • Contributing to investigative efforts to emerging technologies like digital twins, AI/machine learning, blockchain, and chatbots
  • Supporting multiple concurrent efforts
  • Mentor developers on implementation teams

Required Skills/Experience:


  • Minimum of 8+ years' (10+ preferred) work experience in Information Technology
  • Proficiency with Java or JavaScript, WebServices or MicroServices, and database access
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Fiddler, Chrome DevTools, Postman or Restlet Client
  • ESB (Particularly Mulesoft) experience a plus
  • Automation experience with Terraform or Ansible a plus


  • Effectively analyze technical and business requirements and produce system code
  • Plan and execute unit and integration tests
  • Suggest ideas for creating utilities and streamlining processes
  • Generate development scripts in accordance with company protocol
  • Generate documentation for delivery to implementation teams
  • Contribute data for creation charts, tables, and logic diagrams needed in development analysis
  • Process analysis and workflow design to build efficient technical solutions
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment through development, testing and delivery
  • Strong communication skills to converse effectively with business analysts, project managers, customers and other involved stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve and think creatively to develop solutions
  • Team player that fosters a highly collaborative, flexible, supportive and open environment
  • Analytical skills to efficiently comprehend requirements and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Enthusiasm for learning new things (tools, techniques, processes, etc.)


  • College degree in Information Technology preferred
