The Columbia Institute for Tele-Information, a research center at the Columbia Business School seeks a cybersecurity researcher for its Digital Financial Services Observatory (DFSO) project.
The successful candidate will work with the institute’s staff and the project’s Principal Researcher and a small team involved in an international research and capacity building project on digital financial services (DFS), particularly to design and build an actionable cyber-security-focussed risk management framework for DFS and applied to developing countries financial ecosystems.
The project will involve extensive outreach to DFS-focussed regulators and DFS financial ecosystem participants in developing countries.
Experience in writing explanatory papers and/or operational manuals is required.
The ideal candidate would also have a background in payment systems, and/or telecommunications, and/or policy work.
